If you provide Owners with your email address, you will be added to the email distribution list relating to complete streets and/or Streets for All. If the box is checked that you would like to be added to the email distribution lists of Horizon Foundation, American Heart Association and/or AARP Maryland, you then be added to the applicable list(s). If at any time you wish to stop receiving communications from Horizon Foundation, American Heart Association and/or AARP Maryland, please follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any email you receive.
How Owners Protect User Information
Owners adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to help protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, but Owners cannot guarantee that your information is 100% secure.
Sharing Personal Information
If you “Take Action” relating to complete streets and/or Streets for All, Owners may share your personal information with the Howard County Council, the Howard County Executive, members of the press and any other person or entity that the Owners believe will help advance their mission of supporting complete streets and/or Streets for All in Howard County.
Owners may use third party service providers to help them operate the Website or administer activities on Owners’ behalf. Owners may share User information with these third parties for those limited purposes but Owners require that such third parties protect the confidentiality of your information and use it for no other purpose.
In addition, Owners will share personally identifiable information about Users when required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws or to respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant. Owners will also share personally identifiable information if they believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property and safety of themselves or others.
Owners may also share personally identifiable information in connection with, or during negotiations of, a merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of either of their businesses to another entity. Moreover, Owners may share personally identifiable information about a User upon the User’s consent.
Owners may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personally identifiable information regarding Users with third parties.

Owners may provide links from the Website to other websites. Owners do not control the content or links that appear on these third party websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from the Website. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites that have a link to or from Owners’ Website, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies. This Privacy Policy covers only information collected through the use of the Website. In addition, Owners does not currently respond to web browser “do not track” signals.
Compliance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act
Protecting the privacy of the young is especially important. For that reason, Owners never collect information at the Website from those Owners know are under 13, and no part of the Website is structured to attract anyone under 13. If Owners become aware of having information about anyone under 13, Owners will promptly delete the information.
